Your First Night
Walking into somewhere new is the hard part. So here is the whole night, start to finish, before you even get here.
Before you come
You don't need to bring much

Just yourself, and someone you trust if you would like them with you. For a first night we ask that a parent, guardian or carer stays too.
7:30pm
We say hello at the door

Someone from our team is always at the door to meet you and learn your name. Your first night is free, so there is nothing to pay.
7:35pm
Hang your coat and get a drink

There is squash, tea and biscuits, and a table to sit at while you settle in. There is no rush at all.
7:45pm
You meet everyone

Our members are the ones who make new people feel at home. You can say hello when you are ready, and you do not have to talk to anyone before that.
8:00pm
We do the thing our members picked

Our members choose what happens each week. One night it is VR and mocktails, the next it is crafts, team games, or a proper disco.
Any time
You can take a break whenever you need one

If it gets loud or busy you can step away, sit somewhere calmer with your drink, and come back when you feel ready. Someone will check that you are okay.
9:30pm
Home time

The night finishes at half past nine. We say goodbye at the door and tell you what we are doing next time.
And that’s the whole night.
These are the people who will say hello

Ready to try a first night?
A member’s first night is free, and we ask that a parent, guardian or carer comes along with you that first time.
Still not sure? Ask us anything — no question is a silly one.
